Swan Valley Tours

Swan Valley Tours is a family business, founded and managed by us since early 2001.

Kim & Gregg at Nepenthe, CA

Our outlook has been based on Kim's experience in cultural heritage, studying the history of the Swan River Colony and the greater Swan Valley - we believe that we enrich your experience through your understanding of background and significance of what your senses enjoy.

We serve three markets

  • Visitors to Western Australia - a wine region less that 30 mins from Perth's CBD
  • Residents of Western Australia - often surprising what you find in your own back yard
  • The Swan Valley Community - providing the opportunity to show the world our Valley of Taste

Our vision is to be the preferred choice of tour operator in the Swan Valley, both to visitors to the Valley and to the venues in the Valley.

We do this by providing a quality service with that little bit extra for both our guests and for the Swan Valley Community. We value our team: good guides are very hard to find, so we are very proud of all of our team - Abi, Ann, Barry,Graham, Jim & Roy (our guides) and Jenny, Fiona and Adele (who do such a great job behind the scenes).

We believe in maximising our guest's experience in Perth's Valley of Tastes through maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with the venues and personalities in the Swan Valley. We are actively involved with the Swan Valley Visitor Centre/City of Swan, the Swan Valley Tourism Council, the Swan Valley Marketing Group and the broader Swan Valley community, working with other stakeholders and doing what we can to contribute. Recently we helped produce a TV program of the Swan Valley (see the News section for more details and a link to view).

Each year we aim to visit one or more wine regions, either in other Australian States or overseas, so we can learn best practice from others and bring that knowledge back to the Swan Valley (our last visits were to New Zealand, to the North American west coast including Napa and Sonoma Valleys in California and Willamette Valley in Oregon, and to the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria).

But enough of us....

So please sit back and take a tour through our site via the options on the menu: see what we do, where we go and what our guests really think of their time with us.

If you wish to know more, just drop us a line or contact Kim and the team - we'll be happy to help.

If you want to keep informed of what's happening in the Valley, subscribe to our e-Newsletter (on our home page).
